The thought that counts
How are you all? Well I hope!
I have been busy this week starting my Christmas shopping! Now, I am limited when it comes to buying my family and friends gifts. Not because they are a fussy lot, but simply because there are only so many scarves you can buy a snowman or snow woman.
That’s why this year I have decided to be more creative with my gifts. I will be making the presents I give to my loved ones, with my own cold hands. Gifts don’t always have to cost a lot of money, it’s the thought you put in that counts. So why not join me and make your own presents this year.
You could make a scrap book of pictures and memories, or make your own Christmas decoration to hang on the tree. You could bake a cake, a basket of cookies, build a ginger bread house or even draw a family tree. Another option would be to make each member of your family a mix CD of their favourite music.
Remember, Christmas is a wonderful opportunity to spend quality time with family and friends and eat yummy food.
Be imaginative and enjoy!
29 days to go!
